Server & Network Spec

Our servers are state of the art 2U Intel Dual XEON 2.6GHz, 2x512KB cache, 2.0GB ECC RAM, 2 x 120GB SATA Hard Drives with Hardware Raid 1 for hard drive redundancy, Hardened Secure Kernel and Redundant Power Supply Units .

Reliability, extreme uptime and fanatical support are our focus and total obsession. The combination of 2U Intel Dual XEON 2.6GHz, 2GB ECC RAM servers and Premium bandwidth, makes for an extremely reliable hosting platform.

Server Specifications: 2U Dual XEONs, 2GB ECC RAM with 2 x 120GB SATA drives with RAID1 and redundant PSU.

Networking Facilities: We operate out of one of the largest carrier hotels in the world. They have every major bandwidth player in the facility, and it's like a buffet line, where we can pick and choose who we want to use. We have a cage on the 11th floor which is 11x14 and holds up to 10 cabinets. We have 1 networking cabinet, which is where all of the data goes in/out from.
We get our IP transit from 2 cisco 12008 GSR's which are connected via multiple gigabit fiber uplinks to our distribution switches (2 cisco 2948G-L3's). Each cabinet is prewired and connected to our main distribution cabinet so it's plug_and_play. Each cabinet has it's own switch, we prefer a layer 2 switch in each cabinet. All of our servers are hooked up to APC remote reboot ports in the event that they lockup for any reason.

Our support technicians are available 24/7 to assist you with your technical enquiries. Our secure Helpdesk is manned by real humans, 24/7 for the more sensitive support.

Features
  • REAL Uptime : Uptime is where the rubber hits the road. Many hosts make bold "claims" about uptime, but usually this is just marketing talk and doesn't amount to much. We do not make cheap "uptime guarantees" of any nature. Uptime is something that we're absolutely fanatical and extremely proud about. Unlike other hosts who talk about uptime, we'll actually show you our uptime performance from respected third party server monitoring company, Alertra.com. You can see uptime reports for each server on the Server Status page .
  • Setup POP3/SMTP email accounts, auto-responders and email forwarders in real time with the Control Panel software that comes with your hosting . You can also access your emails through Webmail interface which makes you able to access your emails anywhere at any time. You can choose between any of the 3 most advanced webmail interfaces provided to you according to your needs.
  • Shared SSL is now provided free of charge to all our clients.
  • Each hosting plan comes fully equipped with the following free " Fantastico " software. Please note - we supply you access to this software. We do not provide tech support for them.

*IMPORTANT - We have a strict policy regarding mass email from our servers. We do not allow sites that specialize in mass email of any sort. There are also restrictions placed on each domain in the number of emails [newsletters etc] that can be sent each day.
